Team IMGS & DataBuilders to Hike Glendalough in Support of Make-A-Wish Ireland
On June 10th, the IMGS and DataBuilders teams are excited to lace up their hiking boots for a special cause – a scenic hike through Glendalough to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Ireland.
Make-A-Wish does incredible work by granting life-changing wishes to children living with critical illnesses, bringing hope, strength, and joy during some of their most difficult times.
Every step we take supports this mission, and we would be truly grateful for your support.

Garrett Cronin Appointed as Commercial Director at IMGS & DataBuilders

With over 20 years of experience and a proven, multi-award-winning track record in driving business growth and success, Garrett has been instrumental in helping companies achieve their strategic goals. FME 2024.2 Release
FME 2024.2 introduces powerful enhancements like a smarter “Quick Add” for faster search, encrypted password deployment for added security, and a revamped Examples Gallery for improved usability. Key integrations include a Generic XYZ Tiled Web Map for spatial visualization, Navisworks reader for AEC workflows, and Azure Synapse support for Microsoft Fabric. Additional upgrades in surface modeling and error handling streamline workflows for better efficiency.

Gavin Park, New Group CTO at IMGS and DataBuilders
IMGS & DataBuilders are pleased to announce the appointment of Gavin Park as group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) further strengthening our executive leadership team.
Gavin brings a wealth of experience spanning over two decades to the role. This experience will play a key role in our next phase of growth across both IMGS & DataBuilders.
As CTO, Gavin will be responsible for leading the development of the next phase of modern and sustainable solutions for our customers while ensuring a strong synergy between IMGS and DataBuilders.
Data Intelligence 2023
Our annual FME event has been rebranded as our “Data Intelligence” event. We feel this is a better represents the FME platform and the enterprise workflows our customers will be showcasing on the day.
At the event, you’ll still get to join GIS & Data professionals from across the island of Ireland to exchange knowledge, transform your skills, and get inspired.
There will be a renewed focus on the “enterprise” from both a spatial and non-spatial data perspective with learning geared towards every user level from beginners to experts.
We are looking forward to this in person event which will be hosted in the Ashling Hotel, Dublin on the 20th of September, with refreshments and lunch provided on the day.

IMGS Launches New DataBuilders Brand
IMGS started business in 2002 as a GIS or Geographic (location based) solutions provider, but in the last three years they expanded their customer offerings to included market leading data analytics and integration. This expansion prompted the recent development of the new “DataBuilders” brand, which is a sub brand of IMGS, and is focused on delivering our Data Intelligence solutions into new markets following a number of significant new wins.
